This Tuesday morning, aboard kayaks, Extinction Rebellion activists managed to block the Giant “Wonder of the Seas” when it arrived at the port of Marseille. The largest liner in the world is the embodiment of ecocidal maritime tourism. Its blockade by around twenty activists embarked on tiny boats represents a strong symbolism, on the scale of ants facing a giant, they were able to paralyze a monster.
